Somatic Breathwork
Breathwork journeys offer an experiential pathway into healing that works directly with the body and nervous system. These sessions invite connection with sensation, emotion, and internal states through guided breath support, deep listening and presence. The approach I take is rooted in my training in Clarity Breathwork, Numa Somatics and the Boulter Method.

Breathwork in this format is offered as a complementary practice and is distinct from therapeutic counselling services. It may be supportive for those seeking a holistic approach to well-being.
Conscious Breathing: Three Pillars
Grounded.
While consciously but gently stimulating our sympathetic nervous system with a connected breath, we simultaneously relax and invite a connection to earth and our internal and external resources. This combination helps to create a safe and supportive environment for old, incomplete experiences to rise, be witnessed by our own love and then be integrated in a healthy way. Using various somatic techniques, we maintain a steady connection to the ground during the breath journey, which also encourages our parasympathetic nervous systems to unwind and truly relax as it trusts this support. This allows a deeper sense of ease, balance, and rest to return to our bodies & minds. When it comes to healing, there is a power in gentleness that cannot be attained through intensity. Working within our window of tolerance and feeling resourced is vitally important to create healthy, lasting change.
Connected.
A connected breath nurtures the experience of connection in the larger picture of our lives - intimacy with ourselves, with our loved ones, and with the natural world. As we let go of pauses, and let our breath flow in and out without the need to control it - we embrace what is. We let our bodies, minds and spirits know that it is safe to feel in this present moment, that there is nothing to change and everything to love.
Full Body Breath.
An open mouth breath that begins in our root and grounds us into our bodies - affirming our right to BE here. As we get to know this way of breathing, we allow our attention and breath to rise and expand throughout our whole body. We become curious about the places in our body that are open to receiving breath and those that are not. It is an exploration of self, full of information, as our breath reveals tension patterns in the body and areas that may be holding onto something. A common area where this takes place is around the heart. Connecting our breath there brings attention to this dynamic energy center - a vital part of our being that feels connection, longing, ache, love, grief, vulnerability, and gratitude. Breathing into our hearts, letting in and letting go literally creates more flexibility and openness in our thoracic muscles. This is the practice of physically opening and energetically expanding our ability to experience a deeper sense of connection in our lives.
The Breathwork Container
This style of conscious breathwork is a gentle, supportive, and deeply powerful process that can facilitate healing and transformation of the body, mind, and spirit. It offers a pathway inward—guiding each individual to access, witness, and work with what is ready to emerge. Through this process, breath becomes a bridge between the conscious and subconscious, supporting the release of stored stress and trauma, and offering the opportunity to transform limiting thoughts, emotions, and beliefs.
What makes this approach distinct is its deep respect for your breath and nervous system. Rather than pushing or overriding the body, this work honours your current capacity and allows your breath to lead the way. The process is guided with attunement and care, supporting you to move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable—creating the conditions for true integration, rather than overwhelm.
Breathwork can support the release of patterns and behaviours that no longer serve, offering access to the emotional body while creating space to let go and let in. As we open through the breath, we may expand our capacity to feel, to love, and to welcome new, more aligned experiences into our lives.
As awareness deepens, we often begin to notice the ways and places the body has been holding—physically, emotionally, and energetically. Through this process, we are supported in gently softening, allowing the body to feel, integrate, and complete cycles that may not have been possible in the past. In doing so, the body no longer needs to carry what it once had to hold alone.
The way we breathe influences the way we live, relate, and experience the world around us. As we shift our internal landscape, we can begin to see those changes reflected in our relationships and in the way we move through life. In this way, tending to our own healing through the breath and body, becomes a meaningful contribution—not only to ourselves, but to our relationships and the wider world.

Private Breath sessions are a great opportunity to dive deep into your breath with 1-on-1 support. Sessions are approx. 90 mins. in length. Session structure varies person to person based on needs, however may contain all or some of the following elements: somatic grounding practices, space for sharing, breath practices and integration.
Pricing: $200 + GST

It can be a beautiful experience to breathe with a partner or with a group of friends or family. You choose the space and the people and we are happy to come to you! Session lengths and formats can be adjusted to meet the needs of your group.

Private group breathing sessions are one of our favourite offerings ! This can be done in a variety of ways and can include partner work, conscious movement, sound exploration, and other activities that support conscious connection. The breathwork is always the main event and will take place in the second half of the workshop. These workshops are usually between 2-3 hours in length and can be enjoyed with work colleagues, together with friends, or be an open invitation in your community. I enjoy offering conscious breathing in a variety of spaces - indoor and outdoor, community halls, yoga shalas, and living room floors. Reach out with your ideas and visions and we can tailor something to meet your needs!

What Is Possible in a Breathwork Session
Breathwork is an invitation — a return to the quiet intelligence of your own body. In a session, you may experience:
